Rental Application Process
When applying for a rental property with I.R.E., first fill out the application and return the application to our office by mail, fax, or drop it off in person. Our office address is 254 Chapman Road, Suite 103, Newark, DE 19702. Our fax number is 302-834-8297. Please be sure to include the $40 application fee with the completed application.
Once I.R.E. receives your application, we will send an employment verification to your employer and also a previous landlord verification to your last residence. These forms ensure I.R.E. that you will be a good tenant, that will pay rent on time, and care for the property in which you are renting. I.R.E. also will perform a credit check on all applicants that will be signing the lease over the age of 18. The credit check is for informational purposes only. If you have bad credit, it does NOT mean that your application will not be granted. I.R.E. is primarily concerned with your ability to pay the rent.
